To show our appreciation for your commitment to fundraising for Gutsy Walk, we’ll be offering registered participants with one-of-a-kind rewards at specified fundraising amounts. Register today to earn epic rewards while making an impact for all those affected by Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis in Canada!

Individual Participant Rewards

In addition to the exclusive 2024 Gutsy Walk t-shirt all registered participants are eligible for, if you fundraise $150 and over, your efforts will also earn you exciting rewards, and could even grant you access to our new Stars Galaxy!

Rewards Reminders:

  • Participants must be registered to earn exclusive rewards
  • Each registered participant will receive only one reward
  • Should you choose to forgo your e-gift card reward, you can indicate so through your Account Settings in the Participant Centre 
  • To qualify for rewards, registered participants must ensure Crohn’s and Colitis Canada receives funds no later than June 30, 2024
  • To receive your Gutsy Walk t-shirt before walk day, registered participants must have raised $150 by May 20, 2024 
  • Please allow 10 to 12 weeks following June 30 for all donations to be processed and your e-gift card to be sent to you via the email provided at registration

Team Contests and Rewards

Gutsy Walk wouldn’t have the impact it does without dedicated teams and team captains! As an extra show of thanks for all that registered Gutsy Walk teams do for our community, we’ll be awarding the following rewards:
 

Team Contests and Rewards
Contest 1 For the team with the highest fundraising total, each team member will receive an exciting, customized prize valued at $500 total
Contest 2 All teams that fundraise $2,500 or more and consist of five or more team members who actively fundraise will be entered in a draw to win a $500 e-gift card

 

Team Captain Reward

Each team captain whose team is comprised of two or more actively fundraising members, including the team captain, who raises a minimum of $200 as a team, will receive an exclusive Stomach Stress Reliever!

Get Gutsy Kids Club

The highest number of new inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) diagnoses in Canada are occurring in children, particularly under the age of 6. Canada also has among the highest rates of pediatric IBD in the world. These startling statistics are why we’ve developed the Get Gutsy Kids Club. 
 
It’s easy to become a member! If you’re 13 years of age or younger, you’re welcome to join the Get Gutsy Kids Club just by registering online for Gutsy Walk. 
 
Get Gutsy Kids Club members who raise $500 or more will automatically be entered in a draw to win an exciting prize valued at $300! Members who raise $1,000 or more will receive two additional entries.
 

Early Bird Contest

What's the Early Bird Contest?

The Early Bird Contest was a promotion that was active from November 22 to December 31, 2023. Those who registered for Gutsy Walk and raised $250 or more online during the promotion period were entered to win one (1) of 50 “I Heart Guts” Colon Plush pillows.

What's Gear Up for Gutsy Walk?

Gear Up for Gutsy Walk was a promotion that was active from April 29 to May 13, 2024. Those who registered for Gutsy Walk and raised $50 or more online during the promotion period were entered to win one of three grocery store gift card prizes, valued at $300, $200, and $100, respectively.

Stars Contest Promotion

What's the Star Contest?
 
The Star Contest was a promotion that was active from May 20 to May 27, 2024. Those who registered for Gutsy Walk and raised $1,000 or more online before the end of the promotion period were entered to win one of two gift card prizes to Lazypants, valued at $200 and $100, respectively.

Final Countdown Contest Promotion

What's the Final Countdown Contest?

The Final Countdown Contest is not only a contest, but our way to keep up the momentum for Gutsy Walk!

From June 14 to June 30, all Gutsy Walk participants that raise $50 online will earn an entry to win one of (20) "I Heart Guts" Colon Plush pillows. Every $50 raised will earn participants an additional entry.

The winners will be notified by email by July 8. The winners must contact Crohn's and Colitis Canada by July 22 to claim the Promotion prize.
